Meet the Maker

Welcome! My name is Choua Hur, and I am the founder of Lovehurscrunchies LLC, once known as Lovehurtimeboutique. After much reflection, I decided to embrace a name that encapsulated my specialty and my heart: Lovehurscrunchies.

My story began when I grew up watching my mom work as a seamstress, and that’s where my love for sewing began. She taught me the basics, and I soon saved up for my first little sewing machine. When I finally upgraded to a real one, I spent my time creating small projects and gifting them to family and friends.

One day, I decided to try making a scrunchie, and that simple idea sparked something bigger. I bought a few fabrics, made my first (far from perfect) scrunchie, and kept practicing until I found my own style. That’s when Lovehurtimeboutique was born: a dream of sharing my handmade creations with others.

Creating is something I genuinely enjoy. It has been a dream of mine to create something unique and to incorporate my culture into it. Scrunchies have been around for so many years that I thought, “Why not bring them back, but with a fashion twist?" My business started with scrunchies and expanded to offer a variety of cute and trendy designs, including apparel, totes, cups, and more, to pair with my handmade accessories.

This business has really helped me learn about patience and working hard at what I want to succeed in. I have been very blessed to have such tremendous support from friends and family, especially from my husband. His continuous support has helped me be where I am today. Being able to help provide for our little family has been such a blessing, and I am genuinely thankful for all the supporters out there who have purchased from us at Lovehurscruncheis LLC.
